Laboratorio DAGAD organises and takes part in national and international workshops dealing with themes of architecture and design.

 

Workshop on a former industrial area in Milan

 

From February 23th to 25th 2009

Location: Fabbrica del Vapore, Laboratorio DAGAD

At Laboratorio DAGAD, with the participation of "Politecnico di Milano", it was carried out a planning project of a former industrial area in Milan, involving some students of Architecture.

 

 

International workshop of architectural and environmental design in Bellagio

From 10th to 17th October 2005

Location: Polytechnic of Milan

Promoted by professor Ado Franchini of the "DIAP/Politecnico" of Milan, the activity was aimed to stimulate researches, creations and discussions about renovation and valorisation of the Bellaggio's lake and port area.

This event, which occurs every year, will face through time different themes related to the Larian triangle.

The activities of this first laboratory involved more than 50 students and professors from seven European and American universities: the Polytechnic of Milan, The University of Bochum, the Polytechnic of Magdeburg, the Polytechnic of Warsaw, the Technical University of Riga, the Polytechnic State University of Atlanta in Georgia.

 

 

International workshop of architectural and urban design at the Triennale in Milan

From 26th April to 10th May 2003

Location: Triennale of Milan

The theme of the workshop was the recovery of the old industrial area Carminati Toselli. During the workshop (supported by the European Commission, Regione Lombardia and with the patronage of the Council House of Milan) six professors of different European universities (Aveiro, Budapest, Frankfurt, Milano, Seville, Warsaw) along with a group of 36 students from across Europe, developed a work of design and research of the area owned by the Council House and intended for the "Fabbrica del vapore".

Prestigious professors, architects and professionals attended the workshop.  The most important contents are collected in a publication and a video.
