Participation to the
Biennale
of Venice and other architecture exhibitions.
Since its establishment, on the occasion of the
exhibitions at the Biennale, DAGAD has been organising a whole day
of study and in-depth analysis trough a visit with a curator of the
event, critic comment and debate about themes resulting from the exhibition, analysis and valuation of its structure
and curatorship.
The work will go on in the following period, at the
headquarter, with the
collection and in-depth analysis of the material and its filing.
Visits and in-depth analysis days were organised at the
Biennale of Venice in 2004, 2006, 2008.
Visit to reference cities
for architecture in Italy and Europe.
Since its birth Laboratorio DAGAD has
focused its strategies on international relationships, believing that it
has become increasingly important to consider phenomena related to architecture
and design (such as in other cultural sectors, in production
and in science) in a global context.
All this without forgoing to put them, also critically, in relation to
local and national logics.
Among the objectives there is the
observation and the analysis of the architectural research activity,
which points out to the attention given by several countries to this
subject.
An attention which is often combined with supporting and promoting the
younger architects generations.
