Laboratorio DAGAD will be hosting, for a two-year period, young architects who have distinguished
themselves for their work and research activity.
The experience of Greta Amidei
She graduated in Interior Design at the "Politecnico
di Milano" on July 2008. During her degree course she wrote her thesis with DAGAD's support. Besides carrying out her
project, she is currently attending the Architecture course
at the Politecnico. She is participating in some of the laboratory's
activities such as events organisation, workshops and she is keeping in
contact with architects designers and other professionals in this field.
The experience of Mauricio Cardenas
Mauricio
Cardenas was the first young architect participating. In this period
(from September 2004 to January 2006), along with other projects,
Cardenas created a
pavilion covered with dry fixed bamboo and steel
on 300 square metres
of garden at "La fabbrica del vapore".
The construction was opened on the occasion of the "Salone del Mobile
2006".
The experience of
Filippo Taidelli and Stefano Tagliacarne
Once the Mauricio Cardenas' experience ended, Laboratorio Dagad
hosted for a brief period the activity which Cardenas
developed together with Filippo Taidelli and Stefano Tagliacarne. The
project of a guest quarter for a famous football
club was displayed at the "La fabbrica del vapore" and in other
temporary places.
