The first meeting took place at Laboratorio DAGAD.
The students were divided into two groups after a
brief introduction to how the architectural language is
expressed and its complex relationship with psychology of communication,
.
One group analysed the
public and collective space in Milan from the
point of view of psychology of communication and supervised
by Paolo Righetti and Marco Montagna. The other one
analysed, with Diego Quadrelli and Marta Carlon, the
relation between psychology and architecture in design and valuation of private
space.
A practical task was given to the
students, divided into groups of 5/6 people, at the end of
the lesson. The data collected had to be showed during the next meeting.

The
students, divided into groups of 5/6 people, collected data about the
feeling people have towards Piazza Cadorna and then analysed these statistics.
Data
were collected through five tools of analysis:
1.
Questionnaire with closed questions
2.
Emotional maps
3.
Observation of behaviours (schedule)
4.
Open questions (Narrative Dimension)
5.
Photos.
Data, collected by different groups, had been studied and analysed in
order to have statistics that would be presented during the next meeting.
Observations both from the psychological and architectural point of view
were made during the meeting.
