On March 26th 2010
the first seminary will take place at Laboratorio
Dagad (Fabbrica del Vapore) this new course will be developed in
100 hrs with the patronage of Milan's province. The official programme
of this initiative will be soon available. The rest of the seminaries
will be organized at spazioguicciardini, via m. melloni 3, every
saturday from 9am to 6pm.
It is still possible to
subscribe to the initiative.
This project will propose an analysis about the Italian women's
condition on construction sites. Indeed, construction sites are one of
the places where discrimination is more common, where women don't have,
at least in Italy, a significant presence.
The project will be developed, at first,
with a public and shared confrontation by means of a round table open to
the public. It will take place between March 6th and 8th 2010 at La
Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.
The exhibition UMUL,
USE MORE USE LESS goes on tour. The second appointment was at Tivoli at the "Scuderie Estensi, Piazza Garibaldi".

LABORATORIO DAGAD AT FUORI SALONE 09 (APRIL 22nd-27th )
On the occasion of the Fuori Salone 2009 Laboratorio DAGAD
supported by ANAB (National Association of Bio ecological
Architecture), presented the second appointment of the UMUL
project (Use More,
Use Less) a standing workshop on reuse in design, which had been launched
during the Salone del Mobile 2008.
This exhibition represented one in 18
events, visited by over 10,000 people, at La fabbrica del vapore in
Milan from April 22nd to 27th.
Laboratorio DAGAD proposed a revaluation of reuse in the design
field. It is aimed to leave behind the connotation of poor quality,
which reusing had because of a handcraft approach.
With the patronage of companies, leader in this sector (LAMM, LIUNI, SEVES, TREND, UNIVERSAL
SELECTA, ZONCA), young designers
and architects worked on innovative projects of reuse
, characterised by quality and skill usually expressed in the "hand-list" production of companies.
Laboratorio DAGAD presented the prototypes of projects that had been
created during the workshop. At the same time, an exhibition showed
the state of art of reusing at international level through examples
of high formal, aesthetic and functional quality.
UMUL,
opened April 22nd, was considered very interesting by either
national and international subjects. The event is scheduled to
be held in other cities in the next months.
On
the occasion of "Fa’ la cosa giusta! 2009 – VI" (do the right
thing!) a critical consumption and environmental-friendly lifestyles
fair, Terre di mezzo - Eventi with Best Up presented the
second edition of this touring exhibition. All sorts of positive solutions and products for a sustainablehome living were displayed.
Inside the
exhibition area there was, on a reduced scale, the project
10x10. Ten Italian design
masterpieces analysed from an environmental point of view, promoted by Laboratorio DAGAD
in collaboration with ANAB. The project 10x10 started in 2007 as part of
the event Posti di Vista 07, Fabbrica del Vapore.
Laboratorio DAGAD
attended the conference CONSTRUCTA. Themeeting
was promoted and organised by FISCHER in Venice at the Hotel Excelsior
on November
6th-7th-8th 2008.
Paolo Righetti, president of the laboratory, was the chairman of this workshop
on "urban regeneration: a unitary and sustainable process, from
the licensing process to the facility management". Also
attended: Giovanni Verga (Alderman of the Council House of
Milan) , Rita Finzi (CCC-ACAM)
and Giuseppe Menzi (AD Banca Antonveneta MPS).
ARCHITEcture and PSychology of
